Affiliate Internet Marketing-Can Buy Some Happiness

Computer, Laptop, Tech, Blue Computer

Everybody is looking to get more money. As shallow as it may sound, money can buy happiness. It can buy the happiness that is peace of mind. Having money means you do not have to worry about paying your bills or not having health insurance. It means you can buy the things you want and go to the places you want. Money alone can not make you happy but it sure can help.

But making that kind of money is difficult, working a conventional job will not net you the kind of money you would like. So that is why so many people turn to the internet and make their own businesses. Using affiliate internet marketing to promote their websites and grow them.

While online businesses can make you a lot of money, do not buy into the hype that it is some get rich quick scheme. Even if it is on the internet, it is still a business and you need to treat it as such. It will require a lot of time and effort to build up. To that end there are several tips you can follow to help you out.

  1. Set work hours. While working whenever you want is nice, most of us lack the self discipline to actually do that. We would constantly go "oh I’ll do that later" and when later comes, we will just say that again until the day is already over. So for most of us we need a more structured environment, which we can get from setting a specific schedule where we can work and use affiliate internet marketing to promote our websites.

  2. Designate a work space. It is important to pick out an area in your house that will be used as your work area. Whether an officer or just a corner in a quiet area. Somewhere that you can go "ok, time for work." it can help get you in the right mindset and push aside distractions that might hamper your work.

  3. Have the necessary tools. Working online means you need some software to help you out. There are all sorts of programs out there that can help you run your business, so making use of these are important if you plan on being competitive.

  4. Connect with like minded individuals. There are a lot of people out there working on the same niche as you, and some of them will have already succeeded and be making money. Contacting them and asking them for help on how to affiliate internet marketing and any other questions you may have is important.

  5. Maintain your health. This may seem a little silly and out of place, but when working online you and only you are responsible for the success of your business. If you get laid up from being sick, then your business suffers. As well the nature of your business means you will be spending a lot of time in your chair, staring at your monitor. Make sure to take breaks as needed and get enough exercise to compensate.

A Day In The Life Of An Affiliate Marketer

Abstract Background, Abstract Minimal

Being in the affiliate marketing business is not that hard now with the internet at your disposable. It is much easier now compared to the days when people have to make use of the telephones and other mediums of information just to get the latest updates on the way their program is coming along. So with technology at hand, and assuming that the affiliate is working from home, a day in his or her life would sound something like this? Upon waking up and after having breakfast, the computer is turned on to check out new developments in the network. As far as the marketer is concerned there might be new things to update and statistics to keep track on. The site design has to be revised.

The marketer knows that a well-designed site can increase sign ups from visitors. It can also help in the affiliate?s conversion rates. That done, it is time to submit the affiliate program to directories that lists affiliate programs. These directories are means to attract people in joining your affiliate program. A sure way of promoting the affiliate program. Time to track down the sales you are getting from your affiliates fairly and accurately. There are phone orders and mails to track down. See if they are new clients checking the products out. Noting down the contact information that might be a viable source in the future.

There are lots of resources to sort out. Ads, banners, button ads and sample recommendations to give out because the marketer knows that this is one way of ensuring more sales. Best to stay visible and accessible too. The affiliate marketer remembered that there are questions to answer from the visitors. This has to be done quickly. Nothing can turn off a customer than an unanswered email. To prove that the affiliate is working effectively and efficiently, inquiries would have to be paid more attention on. Nobody wants to be ignored and customers are not always the most patient of all people. Quick answer that should appear professional yet friendly too. In the process of doing all the necessities, the marketer is logged on to a chat room where he or she interacts with other affiliates and those under that same program.

This is where they can discuss things on how to best promote their products. There are things to be learned and it is a continuous process. Sharing tips and advices is a good way of showing support. There may be others out there wanting to join and may be enticed by the discussion that is going on. There is no harm in assuming what opportunities ahead. The newsletters and ezines were updated days ago, so it is time for the affiliate marketer to see if there are some new things happening in the market. This will be written about in the marketer?s publication to be distributed to the old and new customers. These same publications are also an important tool in keeping up to date with the newly introduced products.

The marketer has put up a sale and promotion that customers may want to know about. Besides, they have to keep up with the deadline of these sales written in the publications. It is that time to show some appreciation to those who have helped the marketer in the promotions and sale increase. Nothing like mentioning the persons, their sites and the process they have done that made everything worked. Of course, this will be published in the newsletters. Among the more important information that have been written already.

The marketer still has time to write out recommendations to those who want credible sources for the products being promoted. There is also time to post some comments on how to be a successful affiliate marketer on a site where there are lots of wannabees. Two objectives done at the same time. The marketer gets to promote the product as well as the program they are in. Who knows, someone may be inclined to join. Time flies. Missed lunch but is quite contented with the tasks done. Bed time?.

Ok, so this may not be all done in a day. But then, this gives you an idea of how an affiliate marketer, a dedicated one that is, spends the marketing day. Is that success looming in the distance or what? CPP_author Vaurn James is the Owner of http://SuccessRoute.bizhttp://SuccessRoute.biz. Does it pass the sniff test? Affiliate Marketers read this to see why you aren’t getting conversions.

Abstract, Sphere, Box, Space, Hyper

"Something stinks" I said. One of our members, let’s call him Bob, asked me to take a look at his advertising campaign for his Affiliate marketing program. He’d spent a lot of money on advertising specifically solo ads, he was getting "sign ups" or leads but none were converting. He’d been at if for some time, watching, waiting for some kind of return. He wasn’t a newbie either, he’d been doing online marketing for a few years. Finally in frustration he came to me for help. I am sharing with you what I found, so you can avoid making the same mistakes and know what to look for when you buy advertising to promote your own affiliate marketing links. First, I took a look at his Solo Ad copy.

It was well written, got to the point, punchy, benefit – rich and enticed the reader to click for a Special Free Offer. No problems with his Solo Ad copy whatsoever. Next, I looked at the landing page he was using in his marketing, he had 3 different test versions and was tracking clicks on each. Each landing page (squeeze page) was well written, employed all the essentials of good copy writing, attention getting headlines, call to action, clear benefits, compelling offer, simple sign up / optin form. Then I reviewed his click rate data for each page. He had a significant number of clicks with an interesting pattern. When the landing page was promoted in his Solo Ad, the clicks came in within seconds and minutes and hour of the posting, then stopped completely. No clicks at all after about an hour of the ad posting.

Let me share some experience with you, as a company we spend thousands of dollars on advertising, and I can tell you that when we post an ad, especially to a list, we get leads for the next few days, even the next week. The responses don’t abruptly stop within an hour of the posting. The ad may go out in a few minutes, but the recipients don’t check / read their emails at the same time. Next I turned to his list of leads. The leads when viewed as a long list was revealing. There was a suspicious pattern. They had very similar entry data, first initial only and a last name. Then some with a Name that was exactly the same as the email address.

Some were entered in all capital letters, while others had the same style of abbreviations. Odd. I’ve been in the affiliate marketing industry for over 25 years, I can tell you one fact about data entry. Numerous people don’t enter data in the very same way, and rarely on a list of 100 leads would you see the exact same or very similar data entry pattern. Here’s the real eye-opener. When I analyzed if any of these "sign ups" had done anything after they entered their name / email to the optin form, I found that NONE of these leads had taken any further action. By action I mean, they didn’t login, they didn’t take the next step to "GET" what they had opted in to, or signed up for. Strange. If you are like me, when you "Sign up" for something you usually take (or are required) to take further action to verify the optin, or click to access the provided services, or login to collect on what you were offered and signed up for.

Even if you are not like me, you would think that at least SOME of the leads / sign ups would "do" something, not one did. Why? These leads didn’t pass the sniff test. I broke it to Bob. The sign ups were fake, either generated by a robot, or a software auto click program, or spit out by a randomized database of names / addresses/ spoofed IP addresses. The leads are delivered in large numbers quickly to make the buyer happy. His reason for no conversion? The leads weren’t real people, robots and fake names don’t buy. Finally, I asked Bob, where he had placed the Solo Ads. When he told me the source where he had been posting, the gig was up. He had been using a source that our experience and testing shows is a complete waste of money.

Not getting it? It’s not your fault. How the Affiliate Marketing Industry has FAILED you

Abstract, Sphere, Box, Space, Hyper

Affiliate marketing is exploding right now. It’s not a new industry, it’s just hugely popular with increasing demand for work at home jobs and the need for extra income during the pandemic. The fact is that people worldwide have been doing affiliate marketing for years. Worldprofit Inc was the first company to offer affiliate marketing and that goes back to 1994. Amazon offered their Affiliate referral program two years later in 1996. Since then numerous software companies, and publicly traded companies offer various types of referral programs. The problem is not that the affiliate marketing model doesn’t work, without a doubt, it does! All kinds of large companies offer some type of affiliate program, refer a sale to them from your site, or blog, social media etc, and you get a commission.

It’s a straight forward concept. Sign up for free at the company site, post or share your affiliate links and earn extra money for referring sales. Other then a link for promotion purposes many companies don’t offer their affiliates much assistance with getting sales. The problem is lies in the fact that some vendors have been pitching that you can make thousands even millions in a few short weeks. It’s complete and total bunk. Newbies to internet marketing have fell for it spending money on the ONE gadget / secret / software / tool / gizmo that will make them rich. The reality soon sets in that it take a lot of promotion, a lot of sales referrals to make even a LITTLE bit of money. People will post here and there then get frustrated that they aren’t making any money.

So the eager but unknowing buys another product, source, ebook, video series thinking that will help. Then they attend a splashy webinar and are convinced by the "6 Figure Experts" they need their own PRODUCT to make the big money, so then it’s on to buying this and that to research and develop your product and get it into one of the many Digital Marketplaces. Most people don’t have the time or the deep pockets to get their product on the market. Those who have done this journey have often found themselves out of a lot of money, in many cases with little to show for it. If you’re not getting it, it’s not your fault if you’ve stumbled and lost your way in this business. You’ve been doled up a convincing story by flashy vendors that it’s so easy; you don’t have to do any work, someone else will get your sales for you while you lay on a beach. Now that you have found your way here, a little burned perhaps, but definitely a lot smarter, you’ll be happy to learn there’s a better way, a smarter way to earn from affiliate marketing.

Worldprofit has been providing software, training, support and specialized services for affiliate marketers for over 25 years. Our system works when you follow our comprehensive training and consistently work to grow your business. 10 Quick Tips on How to Generate Website Traffic from Yahoo Answers

Tech, Circle, Technology, Abstract

Yahoo Answers is the 100th most visited website in the world and just imagine how much you could benefit if you?re able to use the popularity of Yahoo Answers to generate traffic for your website? Sounds impossible? Well, it isn?t and we?ll teach you how to do it in simple steps.

Tip #1 Create a Yahoo account that?s very close or exactly the same with your website?s domain name. If your website?s URL is, for instance, www.mylittlestore.com then find a way to create a Yahoo username similar to that. If ?mylittlestore? is not available then perhaps, you could try ?my_little_store? or some other similar variation? As you go on using Yahoo answers, people will find it easier to remember your website because it?s close to your username.

Tip #2 Read the terms and conditions for use of Yahoo Answers carefully. Make sure you don?t violate any policies while working on generating traffic for your website. If you play your cards right, you?ll be able to get around the policies and continue marketing your website.

Tip #3 Choose niche categories. Yahoo Answers has a fairly good classification system for its categories so you won?t have a hard time looking for the categories closest to the products or services you?re selling. Concentrate on answering questions from these categories as this will make building your credibility easier.

Tip #4 Answer just a few questions each day. If you post too many answers everyday, no matter how informative, Yahoo Answers could still find a reason to accuse you of spamming and proceed with deleting your account.

Tip #5 Take your time answering the questions you?ve picked for the day. Always aim to giving the ?best answer? for the question because this can only help improve your reputation. While you don?t need to have to provide overly long answers, your replies must be at the very least, informative and hopefully unique as well.

Tip #6 Remember to include targeted keywords in your answer. Since questions and replies in Yahoo Answers also show up in search engine results, use of targeted keywords will enable more people to see your reply and consequently, generate traffic for your website. Avoid flooding your answers with targeted keywords. Mentioning them once or twice would be enough.

Tip #7 Preview your answers and check for any errors in spelling, grammar, and punctuation. These little mistakes could hurt your credibility in the long run so it?s best to get them out of the way as early as possible.

Tip #8 Post important links together with your answer. The links must, of course, provide additional information that people would desire to know. Last but not the least, remember to include a link to your website.

Tip #9 Take note of how the question was phrased and make sure you match it in tone and style. These usually have to do with the question category as well. If you?re selling microscopes, you?ll no doubt find yourself in the science category and most questions there are technical. You?ll have to answer in the same vein if you want to gain people?s trust and respect.

Tip #10 Lastly, create other Yahoo accounts for yourself and use this infrequently to vote for the answer you?ve posted with your primary account. Don?t let yourself get carried away voting or you could get all your accounts banned.

Videos: A good Way to Increase Traffic to Your Site

Web, Network, Information Technology

The most popular website today must be YouTube. YouTube is a video sharing website wherein members are allowed to upload their personal clips and have other people view them. YouTube is very popular because it uses video – videos that have a tremendous pull when it comes to traffic and a regular stream of visitors. Now your website could be another YouTube. You can create a website as popular as YouTube just by using videos. Or you can use the popularity of YouTube to brush some of it to your site. All you have to do is to create or use videos. And everything else will come naturally. Videos have been proven to create the necessary impact to your site. It is a very potent tool to drive traffic to your pages. And it works to two ways. Use of the two suggestions below and start using videos to make your site as popular as you would like it to be.

  1. Uploading videos to your site. People like to watch something new, something funny, and something interesting. Use videos to capture the attention of your audience. With today’s internet world, static web pages are slowly becoming a history. People want something moving. People want interactivity. And you can provide all of that through videos. A simple 2 to 3-minute video should do the trick for you. Record a video clip that would provide your visitors the information they need without going through your site page by page. Some people would like to hear data rather read them. But more than that, videos give spice to your site. It provides your site with something to look forward to. Playing videos gives your visitors something more to check out. It can be used to provide proof that your product is indeed working. A simple video of testimonials of satisfied customers would give you and your products a big advantage over your next best competitor. If you really want to increase traffic to your site, try uploading original videos that people can’t resist. They would surely come running to your site just to check out what the buzz is all about. People would like to get ahead with the times. And if it an internet video that’s making noise, they would surely want to watch it for themselves. If it’s in your site, you are going to be the lucky recipient of all that traffic.

  2. Upload videos to popular video sharing sites. This is where sites like YouTube come in. YouTube is a video sharing community that has millions of members from all over the world. If you want to delegate some of the traffic YouTube is getting day in and day out, you could simply add your own special video to YouTube and invite others to watch it. As they watch it, they would find out who made it if it was really good. And in your profile, you can conveniently put your website’s URL so that they can know more about you. That way, people will begin to click the homepage you placed in there. Your website would definitely gain traffic as you invite your viewers to watch more videos directly to the site you have created it for.

These are the two ways to drive traffic to your site using videos. Try them today.

It could just be the only boost you needed for your website. Vaurn James is the Owner of http://SuccessRoute.biz

Internet Traffic Needs Quantity AND Quality

Tech, Circle, Technology, Abstract

With all the traffic-generating software available today providing easy ways to get lots of traffic redirected to your website, it’s easy to lose track of the bottom line. Your website’s main purpose is to do something other than just generating hits. It can be the promotion of a product, or providing information on a certain subject. Whatever the case, the volume of traffic running through a site is a major determinant in it’s success as a website. However, this is only part of the equation, and some people lose track of their website’s main goal in the race to get more hits than everybody else.

Eventually, this leads to their ruin, no matter how many hits they get. One of the best ways to avoid this problem is to keep your website’s original, main purpose in mind at all times. Granted, aggressive online marketing software can get you a lot of hits – but will you KEEP those people coming back to your website? That’s the question. Always focus first on what you’re about. Keep your content fresh and always make sure that you give people a reason to come back and visit you, or you’ll wind up the proverbial flash in the pan. Aside from making your website itself interesting, you have to select your target traffic wisely.

Simply bombarding tons of people to visit your website in the belief that the "good" ones will stick around doesn’t always hold true. Why? Because the sheer volume of traffic made up of mostly casual browsers or even misdirected hits from any traffic-generating software you’re using will ultimately cause lag and bog your site down. This can turn off even those who might have otherwise wanted to browse, or conduct business with you in the first place. So you need to do your research when selecting your target audience. This is made easier by the fact that most software meant to either generate or attract traffic can be customized to your specifications – how aggressive it gets, what types of advertisement to use, parameters on email addresses and websites contacted, that sort of thing. This ability to customize should be used fully to make sure that the audience you reach is the one you want to.

Often, it is a good bet to aim for a smaller but solid customer base that will generate constant traffic from coming back often. Then you can expand from there, slowly building up by looking for more clients to contact. You can also improve your website as you go along to cater to your existing traffic, using things like referral systems to get browsers to participate and bring people they know in (which makes them inclined to stay even more since they’ll have friends using your site too). Naturally, this gradual ramp-up can also allow you to improve your site to meet the increasing number of traffic going through. This will be rather different from the usual "randomized" traffic pulled in by traffic generators, who will be there one moment and gone the next, making your traffic spike wildly. Aim instead for a gradually increasing curve to your traffic rate that rarely diminishes and often increases.

In this way you can make sure that your website becomes a long-term investment of your time, money, and effort.

How to Drive Targeted Traffic to Your Website with Free Podcasts

Bot, Cyborg, Automation, Helper, Robot

Podcasts, like ebooks, do not generally require you to spend money when creating them. You may already have the materials and resources needed for creating a podcast: a good-quality microphone, a few software tools to edit your recording, and of course, valuable content. If you have all that then you can start creating free podcasts that could drive targeted traffic to your website.

Step 1 Formulate your script. Choose a topic that will be interesting for your target market to listen to and which they can benefit from as well. If you have a topic in mind already, research for more information about the topic. If you have enough data, it?s time to start a script. Think of writing a script as something similar to creating an outline. A script will let you ensure that the flow of information is logical, orderly, and smooth. A script is made up of several acts and an act is made up of several scenes. Choose the best scene or act for which you can redirect the dialogue to your business. It?s very, very important to mention your business because you want people to remember where the podcast comes from and where they could go if they want more.

Step 2 Choose the proper format for your podcast. Consider your resources, skills, and topic. Would you like the podcast to take an interview format? should it be formal or informal? How about a monologue?

Step 3 Consider the length of your podcast. If you don?t have an established reputation online just yet then not many people will be willing to give their entire time to listening to your podcast. New online business owners are better off limiting their podcasts to a short duration ? maybe not more than fifteen or thirty minutes. When you get a bit more popular then that?s the time you should make your podcast longer. For now, it?s better to keep things short, simple, and sweet. Make your listeners look forward to what you have to say next.

Step 4 Start recording. Choose the best place where you can record. An ideal room would have sound-proof walls and carpeted floors to preserve the original sound of your voice and other audio effects. The room must also be free from external background noise like a mouse squeaking in the corner, an open window letting in street noise from below, or something similar. Make sure you subject all your recording tools to a sound test and ensure that they?re in working order. Whoever the narrator or speakers are, they must have clear and well-modulated voices and able to enunciate words perfectly.

Step 5 Humor is always appreciated but only if it?s applied at the right time and place. Adding a touch of humor here and there, especially if it?s ad-libbed, will go a long way in obtaining the loyalty of your listeners.

Step 6 End your podcast with an invitation for your listeners to check out your other podcasts. Let them know what you have in store for them next and your regular time and day for uploading podcasts in your website. Listen to your recording several times before making it available for downloading.

Step 7 Lastly, submit it to directories and make sure to use the same set of information when describing your podcast. Include targeted keywords with your description and don?t forget to display your website address!

How Viral Marketing Can Make Your Website More Popular

Robot, Mech, Machine, Technology, Urban

In the offline world, viral marketing means that you are spreading the word about your product or service, and the rumors about it are catching and moving fast, like wildfire ? or, actually, more like a virus that has lost control. In this case, however, a marketer has full control of the situation, because all that he needs to do is urge his boss to release the product or service in order to satisfy the curiosity of the target market. This can be the same disadvantage that makes viral marketing so dangerous: customers are so inundated with advertising messages and promises, so that if the product or service fails to live up to expectations, the company that produced it just might fall into ruin.

In the online arena, viral marketing can be even more dangerous ? in fact, it can work extremely well, or backfire and spin out of control. This is because there are many chances for viral marketing to take place online. All that viral marketing needs is a short message, a set of recipients, and a mode of delivery. A short message can be easy to come by for companies or businesses that know their products and services well. A set of recipients can also be obtained fairly quickly from directories or lists of contact details of prospective customers. It is the mode of delivery that makes viral marketing so easy online. There are actually many modes of delivery online that can make viral marketing spread even faster than it would offline.

Because of the paradigm of Web 2.0, more and more people are finding their way online and finding it easier to express themselves in the online arena. This means that many people will have their own websites, a means to react to entries on the website or blog that the person has produced, and membership in various social networks where friends can come together to discuss their favorite topics and ways to indulge their interests. If word gets out on a blog or social network about a great product, service, or website, the word spreads quickly through the web of people and online personas, and viral marketing is born. So what does this mean for your website?

It means that there are many ways for your website to succeed online only if you know how to exploit the different ways that Web 2.0 can spread the word on your website, products, and services. You can start by maintaining a blog, and then being a member of forums and online groups at the same time. Your membership will allow you to post your opinions, help other members out with their problems, offer tips, and give advice. Once you have sealed your reputation, you can then direct people to your blog, where they can make comments and get a chance to tell other people about your products, services, and website. Make sure, however, that your products and services really do live up to expectations, and that you update your website regularly.

Once viral marketing gets started, it can be difficult to control. Of course you will not be able to please everybody, but at least you know the techniques to employ when you want to try. These are only a few aspects of viral marketing that you may want to consider. For more information, read about Web 2.0 and the importance of social networks. Once you get into these networks, it will be easier for you to market your website, products, or services.

Cheap Ways to Generate More Traffic for Your Website

Industry, Industry 4, Web, Network

Websites run on traffic, it’s a fact of life. Whether you’re getting paid for every person who visits your webpage, or offering services and products on your website, you can never have too much traffic running through your site. More traffic means more people looking at you, means more publicity and money. One way or another, you earn more when your traffic is high. Still, most people wind up investing a lot of money into generating traffic for their sites, so much so that they ultimately lose out because of high overhead costs. They either spend too much on fancy advertising programs, or pay too much money to other web sites to advertise their site, that they ultimately break even at best.

Here are three simple, cheap, yet effective ways to keep your traffic climbing higher without putting your wallet in the red. Search Engine Optimization – this is one of the simplest ways to get your traffic up. Simply put, SEO works by optimizing the words on your web site so that they stand higher chances of getting selected when people enter certain key words related to your site on search engines. SOE can be done a number of ways. There are SEO-tailored articles ghostwritten and given to subscribers by certain providers. This option also always ensures you have plenty of material for your website.

Another way to go about it is to buy an SEO program which alters articles you place on your website so that they are optimized for search engine key words. Another way is to use an SEO random keyword generator which gives you a list of random words which have high priority with a lot of search engines; then you can pick and choose these words to add to your web site as you will. False Traffic Generator Programs – this is a simple program which works hand in hand with SEO programs. Quite simply, search engines have two main criteria when placing a web site on their lists; one is key word density, and another is the number of hits that website has had recently.

A false traffic generator program can actually fool some (but not all) search engines into thinking that you’ve had a much higher number of hits than you really did. Two Way Links – this is another easy way to get traffic to your website. While most people pay other sites to have links placed to their own site, a two way link is simply an arrangement with another web site wherein you give them a link to your site in exchange for their having a link to yours placed on theirs.

Normally, neither side pays the other for the link or any hits redirected, because this type of relationship is intended to be symbiotic. While not every site will agree to such an arrangement, it never hurts to look around for other sites which will agree to this. It will help if you have a high traffic rate to begin with, as this can offer you some bargaining power when trying to work out a two way link deal with a website that also enjoys a lot of traffic. By the same token, if you have a high volume to begin with you can even work out a two way link where you pay them for every hit redirected to them and vice versa, if the web sites you’re approaching have relatively lower traffic than yours.

This allows them more publicity since you have more traffic, and also allows you to save more money since their initial traffic is lower.
